Food!

Kevin and I found out that we get to go this Thursday to the Equestrian Center ( our wedding site) to try out all the yummy foods to pick out for our wedding menu ...... this could either be really dangerous or really fun! Haha. Hopefully we find something we like, i'm very curious how they go about doing this. I have a mental image of Kev and I sitting at a table with 16 different mini plates in front of us with little ice cream scoop sizes of food, and then little rating cards for each one. Hm, I guess we'll see.

Any advice from anyone that has been through this? aka Nathan? haha

Oh it doesn't matter what you choose... because you'll probably be too busy eat that evening.

I take that back, I made sure to eat our dinner, we had chicken and lamb with some awesome mashed potatoes and veggies.

Our tasting was like you described, a bunch of people around a huge / long table. They had a menu with a huge selection and I think they just chose to cook the more popular stuff for us to try and talked about each dish. We tried a bunch of stuff.

Then they had various deserts around the room, chocolate fountains and all sorts of stuff.

Our caterer rocked, and they were Greek so the food was great!

Good luck and eat a lot!

Our site didn't do tastings so we played it safe with chicken and asparagus. The scalloped potatoes we picked ended up being quite delicious. If you have any vegetarian guests see what options they have for them.
